Alan came to Oracle through the acquisition of his previous San Jose-based employer, Pillar Data Systems. He has now been at Oracle for over 6 years and has evolved his role from building unique career development programmes for Inside Sales Professionals to now running a central function responsible for all Special Projects and Programmes supporting the rapidly-expanding Oracle Digital sales organisation. He currently is part of the team leading the digital transformation of Oracle; including a focus on how to attract & retain next-generation talent, how they are enabled to maximise productivity, how they work and driving a culture of success, collaboration, and innovation. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, he studied Business and Administration at the Dublin Institute of Technology and has qualifications from London Business School & FETAC.

Dirk Schlotter, DE

Mr. Schlotter is director of global real estate for Verizon Communications and responsible for the global workplace evolution and all international properties of Verizon outside the United States, covering more than 50 countries and 1,000 assets across the globe. His area of responsibility includes global strategic initiatives like transforming the workspace to an activity-based workplace, the global CoWorking program, and the integration of purposeful digital experience in the workplace. Further, all international property related operations including asset, energy and transaction management, strategic portfolio planning as well as design and construction, general building services, and the overall workplace experi­ence.He received his pre-law degree from Mayence University School of Law and a degree in business administration from the Wiesbaden Institute of Commerce & Industry. Prior to joining Verizon, he worked as a regional real estate manager for MCI in EMEA.

Ivan Mazzoleni, IT

The Center’s mandate examines how work is changing in response to the emergence of new technologies, new business practices, and new ways of working. Euan joined Cognizant in 2013 bringing over 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry. Prior to joining Cognizant, Euan held senior analyst, advisory, and leadership positions at Forrester Research, IDC, and the Corporate Executive Board (CEB). A respected speaker and thinker, Euan has guided many Fortune 500 firms into the dynamics surrounding business and technology with his thought provoking re­search and advisory skills. In his role for Cognizant, Euan ensures that the Center provides original research and analysis into the work trends and dynamics playing out in Europe and collaborates with a wide range of business and technology thinkers to understand how the future of work will look. Manas is a 30+ year veteran of the software industry and has deep working experience of all aspects of the industry such as development, product management, architecting an enterprise-level solu­tion, management of transformative customer projects, and sales and marketing. Manas has worked in various industries and across many continents. He has worked in leading roles in large multi-nationals as well as in start-ups. During his work at TIBCO and Oracle, he focused on the whole spectrum of middleware technologies including SOA, BPM, case management, EAI, BI, real-time analytics, complex event processing, DevOps, etc. Manas has co-authored five books on SOA, BPM, adaptive case management, and digital trans­formation methodologies. Manas has a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering, an MBA, and a doctoral in computational and applied mathematics (an interdisciplinary pro­gram involving applied mathematics, computer science and engineering done at University of Texas at Austin).
